From July 26 to 30, 2026, the 18th National Symposium on Medical Experimental Teaching, together with the expanded meeting of Basic Medicine Group of National Joint Council for Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers of Higher Education Institutions, was held in Shanghai. Centered on medical experimental teaching reform, digital teaching innovation and talent‑training mode optimization, the event hosted special sessions covering innovative design of medical experimental teaching and AI‑empowered basic medical education, to advance high‑quality development of university experimental teaching.

Conference Highlights: Promote Learning via Exchanges
Novel Optics presented the newly‑upgraded NOW.Class digital microscopic interactive system, showcasing digital microscopy solutions tailored for medical experimental teaching scenarios. Featuring digital microscopic imaging, classroom interaction and innovative teaching functions, the system helps universities improve experimental teaching efficiency and learning experience. During the conference, our team held in‑depth discussions with experts and teachers from universities nationwide on application requirements and future trends of microscopy in medical experimental teaching. For its active contribution to innovative university experimental teaching, Ning Yong Optics was awarded a letter of appreciation by the National Joint Council for Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers of Higher Education Institutions.
