NSS‑5 Slide Scanner

Built‑in integrated workstation supports one‑click scanning, as well as acquisition, generation, storage and management of fluorescent slide images. Multiple scanning modes with real‑time auto‑focus are available, including standard‑scan and high‑precision‑scan to meet diverse slide‑scanning requirements. It automatically detects tissue to set scan areas and skips blank regions; manual scan‑area definition is also supported. Digital slides are compressed in JPEG or JPEG2000 format, and raw TIFF images at various magnifications can be exported.

Various objectives are optional according to application requirements, including semi‑apochromatic objectives and premium apochromatic objectives. The standard‑equipped semi‑apochromatic objectives with high numerical aperture deliver high‑resolution imaging from ultraviolet to infrared bands.

The unique nano‑hard multi‑layer coating technology greatly enhances objective transmittance and guarantees optimal imaging performance for this microscope. It achieves optical resolutions of 0.67 μm at 2×, 0.67 μm at 20×, and 0.45 μm at 40×.

Multi‑slide Stage

Large‑size microscope stage delivers extensive travel of 160 mm along the X‑axis and 76 mm along the Y‑axis. It can hold 5 slides simultaneously to perform continuous fluorescence scanning for five slides.

Motorized Intelligent Components

The scanner is equipped with multiple motorized components. In addition to the motorized XY‑stage, precise Z‑axis control enables fast and accurate Z‑stack and EDF imaging.

Motorized inward‑tilting 5‑position objective turret features smooth switching and accurate positioning. The 4‑position motorized fluorescence accessory enables rapid switching for multi‑channel time‑lapse fluorescence scanning.
